Adirondack Academy is specifically designed to help students who have encountered obstacles in the regular school setting. ADK’s alternative education emphasizes small class sizes and close relationships with teachers, staff and administrators in order to help students graduate high school.
This spring, Julian Martes, a Johnstown student enrolled in the Digitial Multimedia and Communications program at the HFM Career and Technical Center, worked with the HFM Communications Department to produce a video explaining more about what makes Adirondack Academy special for many local students. Martes completed the project during a two-week professional internship that CTE students pursue their senior year.
