Harry Brooks called the meeting to order at 5:04 p.m.

Kathryn Zajicek made a motion, seconded by John DeValve and unanimously carried to approve the agenda as presented and add or remove any items introduced by unanimous vote.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Rebecca Cozzocrea made a motion, seconded by Matt Sullivan to approve the minutes of the May 25, 2022 Regular Board meeting. This motion was unanimously carried.

Kathryn Zajicek made a motion, seconded by John DeValve and unanimously carried to adopt the following resolution to revise the HFM BOCES 2021-2022 Holiday Calendar for 12-month and
Office Employees:
A RESOLUTION adopting a revised HFM BOCES 2021-2022 Holiday Calendar for 12-Month and Office Employees
WHEREAS, the BOCES annually develops a “Holiday Calendar for 12-Month and Office Employees” for the upcoming school year; and
WHEREAS, the adopted “2021-22 Holiday Calendar for 12-Month and Office Employees” did not recognize Juneteenth (June 20) as a holiday; and
WHEREAS now the “2021-22 Holiday Calendar for 12-Month and Office Employees” needs to be revised;
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Education of the Hamilton-Fulton-Montgomery Board of Cooperative Education Services:
Section 1:  Monday, June 20, 2022 shall be added as an additional holiday/recess/school not-in-session day for 12-month and office employees and district offices will be closed.
Section 2:  The additional holiday is for the 2021-22 school year and shall be non-precedent setting.
Section 3:  This resolution will take effect immediately.
