exterior shot of front of Northville schoolThe Northville Central School District Board of Education has launched a comprehensive search for an outstanding educational leader to serve as its next Superintendent of Schools.

The successful candidate must have strong leadership and communication skills and must be able to maintain and foster relationships with staff, students and the community.

The district serves approximately 420 students in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade in an historic, single building campus. The ideal candidate will be a visible and invested part of the close-knit Northville community, which is supportive of the district and proud of its academic offerings, small class sizes and opportunities for advance coursework and extracurricular activities.

Residents and staff look forward to partnering with the Superintendent of Schools to move the district forward while maintaining the values and culture that make it the center of the community.

The Board is working with HFM BOCES District Superintendent Dr. David Ziskin to conduct the superintendent search. The new superintendent is expected to begin work in July 2022.

The Northville Central School District is committed to ensuring its graduates are engaged critical thinkers and accomplished decision makers.

Northville is proud of its excellent academic program, which is offered in a small and safe environment that leverages technology to connect to the global community.

The district’s academic program provides students with a solid foundation to pursue college or careers. Approximately 75 percent of Northville students earn college credit before graduating, and rigorous coursework, including the district’s Advanced Fabrication Technology Program, enables students to earn a living wage right out of high school. The district also partners with HFM BOCES and Fulton-Montgomery Community College to offer additional opportunities for students.

The single building campus is organized into in elementary school and a middle/high school, with a dedicated principal for each program. The district employs approximately 90 staff members with a 2021-22 budget of $12.6 million.

In 2021, voters approved a $6.5 million capital project that will provide funds for maintenance and infrastructure work and the installation of field lighting for the district soccer fields with no additional tax levy impact.
