CALL TO ORDER
President Brooks called the meeting to order at 9:01 a.m.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Jean LaPorta made a motion, seconded by Gustavo Sacerio and unanimously carried to approve the agenda as presented and add any items introduced by unanimous vote.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
At 9:03 a.m. the Board entered executive session for the purpose of discussing matters that may lead to the appointment, employment, promotion, demotion, discipline, suspension, dismissal or removal of a particular person upon a motion made by Gustavo Sacerio, seconded by Carmen Caraco and unanimously carried.
RETURN TO OPEN SESSION
At 9:10 a.m. Allan Turnbull made a motion to return to open session. This motion was seconded by Gustavo Sacerio and unanimously carried.
PERSONNEL APPOINTMENT
Gustavo Sacerio made a motion, seconded by James Beirlein and unanimously carried to approve the following resolution to appoint a Civil Service Law Section 75 Hearing Officer:
WHEREAS, the District Superintendent is preferring disciplinary charges pursuant to Civil Service Law Section 75 against Kristian Walker, an employee of the HFM BOCES; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Education of the HFM BOCES desires to exercise its authority to appoint a hearing officer to hear this matter and return a report and recommendation to it concerning the proceeding.
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED that Brian Devane is appointed as Hearing Officer in a certain matter involving disciplinary charges against the aforementioned employee. Hearing Officer Devane is directed to conduct the hearing and return his report and recommendations in accordance with Civil Service Law Section 75.

ADJOURNMENT:
With no further business to come before the Board, Allan Turnbull made a motion at 9:12 a.m. to adjourn the meeting. This motion was seconded by Carmen Caraco and unanimously carried.
