The Annual Meeting of the Board of Cooperative Educational Services, Sole Supervisory District of Hamilton, Fulton, and Montgomery Counties was called to order by President Harry Brooks at 6:00 p.m.  The President welcomed 25 attendees to the meeting.

Dr. Brooks stated that he was disappointed the meeting could not be fully in-person this year but noted that progress is being made toward a time when they could meet together and do important work for the children.  Dr. Brooks stated that progress has been made this year.  This progress is thanks to leadership of the HFM BOCES component school board members.  This progress is thanks to the leadership of the superintendents of the HFM BOCES school districts who were able to navigate the ever-changing times throughout the year.  This progress is also thanks to the teachers, parents and children who were resilient and kept rebounding no matter what changes were presented to them.  Dr. Brooks said he looked forward to a new year and hopes this meeting sets a stage for what’s to come when the Board members can meet and bring their hearts and minds together for the good of the children.

Dr. Ziskin, District Superintendent, thanked everyone for participating in the HFM BOCES Annual meeting.  He introduced the HFM BOCES board members and administrative staff that were in attendance.   He read a letter from the Commissioner of Education, Betty A. Rosa addressed to the members of the Cooperative Boards of New York State on the occasion of their Annual Meeting
