PTECH freshmen and sophomores prepared proposals for redeveloping the now defunct Sherman’s Park on Caroga Lake and presented their proposals to the Sherman’s Advisory Committee on Nov. 1 and 2.

The students recently visited the former family attraction, which has not been operational for many years, to assess the facilities and environment. They then developed business plans for the location, including ideas for a community center and garden, ice skating, a trampoline park and an international diner.

The town has been seeking options for redeveloping the park in the near future.
