Lisa Johnson


Mrs. Johnson came to PTECH having taught project based learning as a STEM teacher in Endicott, New York. As part of that job, she worked with students in the prototyping lab and taught them to use simple robots and 3-D printers. She also worked with businesses in the area as a part of a business incubator in the school, allowing students to work with businesses on real-life projects.

She also has taught physical science and algebra at Groton Central School in Groton, NY, and was a physics teaching assistant at SUNY Cortland.

In addition to her teaching experience, Mrs. Johnson has coached a modified-level volleyball team.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in adolescence education, physics from SUNY Cortland.

At PTECH, Mrs. Johnson teaches physics, robotics and math courses and is an advisor for the Underwater Robotics Club.
