HFM student Will Kenyon was awarded the Tony Camarra Memorial Award Scholarship for 2016. The $500 scholarship honors the admired HFM BOCES teacher, who taught BOCES classes from September, 1986, until his death in March, 2011. It is given by Tony’s sisters, Dianne Friedel and Terese Woodward.

HFM Special Education Assistant Director Scott Dellis, in presenting the award to Will, remembered Tony as a teacher who held exceptionally high expectations of his students.

“Good attendance, a strong work ethic, personal responsibility, and good physical fitness were hallmarks of Tony’s expectation for his students. Will Kenyon embodies these characteristics and is a very deserving recipient of this years award.” Dellis said.
