treering badgeSEPT 17, 2015 – The sale of the annual Career and Tech yearbook created by HFM BOCES Digital Multimedia program has resulted in 27 trees being planted in HFM BOCES’ name.

“Congratulations to HFM BOCES on being a TreeRing Green Yearbook School!” Ray Mina, Vice President of TreeRing said when notifying Career and Technical Education teacher Andy Huth. “Because you sold 27 yearbooks last year, we’ve worked with our partner, Trees for the Future, to plant that many trees in your school’s name.”

TreeRing helps schools create more environmentally-friendly yearbooks. The company provides software to help create personalized pages and prints only the number of books ordered using recycled paper.

In addition, TreeRing’s partnership with Trees For The Future, a nonprofit organization that helps communities around the world plant trees, enables a tree to be planted for each yearbook purchased.
