Director of Information Technology (School)

The HFM BOCES Board of Education is accepting letters of interest for the position of Director of I.T. (School).

This position will report to the District Superintendent and has a proposed start date of December 1, 2019. The successful candidate will be appointed to a 12-month position as a confidential manager and will be subject to successful completion of Civil Service Examination scheduled for a later date.

The Information Technology Director supervises the daily operation and maintenance of all technology resources at the HFM BOCES main campus and any in-district programming.

Minimum Qualifications:

The preferred candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related major and/or 3 years of professional experience in managing the application and maintenance of computers and networks. The applicant must also demonstrate knowledge of computer hardware/software and current industry innovation.
