HFM hosted the event sponsored by the Education Committee of the Fulton-Montgomery Regional Chamber of Commerce.

More than 150 community members met over hors d'oeuvres in the BOCES conference center to learn more about how local business and education can work together to improve economic growth for the region.

Students in the culinary arts program from HFM BOCES Career and Technical Education division provided a spread of tasty finger foods for participants visiting the many displays in the room.

Twelve companies set up table displays to share information about their business as well as job descriptions and qualifications to fill available openings.

Educators learned first hand about area employers’ staffing requirements, and what local graduates need to find work in the local economy.

Fulton-Montgomery Community College offered tours of their Clean Room, part of the college's Center for Engineering and Technology and an extraordinary close-to-home opportunity for local students seeking careers in the nanosciences.
