Open
House scheduled for Alternative High School
The Alternative High School invites parents, students and
prospective students, local schoolteachers and administrators to
an open house from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 20.
All parents of current students are urged to attend. Teachers
will be in their respective classrooms and guests will get a
clear picture of a typical school day for our students. The
counselor and administrators will also be available for
conferences during the evening.
Prospective students and their parents, local schoolteachers and
administrators who attend will also learn more about the
Alternative High School program.
The Alternative High School is located on the HFM BOCES campus
at 2755 State Highway 67, Johnstown.
Interim Principal Richard Riccio stressed the importance of the
Open House as a chance for parents to gain a deeper
understanding of the goals of the alternative school program and
an opportunity to get acquainted with the school staff.
