BOCES community mourns death of physical therapist
Dec.
15, 2010 – Family, friends, students and colleagues are mourning
the death of Sandra Greens, a physical therapist with HFM BOCES
Special Education division, following a sudden illness.
"The HFM BOCES community has lost a caring and dedicated
professional who always put her student's needs first,” said
Michael Jacob, director of special education at HFM BOCES.
"Sandy served pupils and families with special needs in an
extraordinary manner and her passing will be felt by many."
Ms. Greens joined the HFM BOCES staff in 1995 and worked in many
area schools and with countless students. This year, she was
assigned to the Canajoharie and St. Johnsville Central School
Districts. Ms. Greens worked very closely with the staff,
students and families in the Pervasive Developmental Disorders
Program.
"We hold great regard for the work she carried on here at HFM,
and our thoughts are with her family,” said HFM BOCES Assistant
Superintendent Dr. Lorraine Hohenforst. |
