Independent Study

An independent study option is also available to prepare for the GED for adults age 21 and older who read minimally at a grade 9 level, are able to work independently, and can exchange assignment packets every two weeks at HFM BOCES. Internet access and an email address is necessary. Students are accepted into the program every eight weeks.

Demand has been high for GED classes through HFM BOCES and seating is limited in each class, so students must call the office prior to the first registration session to reserve a seat. Students should call 736-4340 or email spodolec@hfmboces.org to reserve a seat and get additional registration information. Voicemail is available 24 hours a day. Please provide your name, age, mailing address, phone, email and preferred class location.
