Catholic charities groups participate in Alternative High School Parent/Teacher ConferenceHFM BOCES Alternative School Program held their annual Parent-Teacher Conferences on November 18-19. Designed to facilitate better teacher-parent communication and parental involvement, the two days of conferencing attracted nearly 100 families.

Several area organizations attended the conference to distribute information about their youth-focused services. Participating representatives and agencies included Rececca Manwaring, Director of Project ACTION Tobacco Free Coalition; Jared Palermo, Youth Gambling Prevention Coordinator for Catholic Charities of Fulton/Montgomery Counties; Sarah Kraemer, Program Coordinator of Reality Check (Catholic Charities of Fulton/Montgomery Counties) and Bridget Rocco, Tobacco Free Healthy Schools (Catholic Charities of Fulton/Montgomery Counties).
