York State School Boards Association honors Peter Raneri for
long tenure on
the HFM BOCES Board
of Education
To a standing
ovation on May 30, Peter Raneri accepted a certificate of
appreciation and pin from the New York State School Boards
Association.
The award was given to
commemorate Mr. Raneri's long tenure as a school board member.
His service
to the community dates back more than 40 years: In the 1960s, he
served as a board member on the Johnstown Board of Education.
For the last 28 years,
Peter has served on the HFM BOCES Board of Education, making him
the longest-tenured board member in New York State.
