Peter
Raneri
is honored
for serving
longest tenure as board member
Peter Raneri’s service
to the community dates back more than 40 years: In the 1960s, he
served as a board member on the Johnstown Board of Education.
And he hasn’t missed a beat since.
For the last 28 years,
Peter has served on the HFM BOCES Board of Education, making him
the longest-tenured board member in New York State.
To recognize that
dedication, New York State Education Commissioner Richard P.
Mills and HFM BOCES Superintendent Geoffrey H. Davis presented
Mr. Raneri with a framed citation during the BOCES January board
meeting.
Joining him for the
board meeting was his son, Peter, with whom he now resides.
