McNab students hatch chicks during schoolwide project

May 16, 2018 | Filed in Archive

Students at the HFM BOCES McNab School in Gloversville successfully hatched 15 chicks during a schoolwide incubation project. The first chick hatched May 13.

The incubators and eggs were provided to the school by a local resident, who will also take the chickens to raise.

Incubation projects such as this help teach students about the life cycle and the nature of birds.
