Agriculture PTECH School Principal

This is a 12-month tenure-track administrative position within the HFM BOCES Administrative bargaining unit. The anticipated start date is August 1, 2018.

We are looking for an energetic, visionary, and organized individual to lead the Agriculture P-Tech school, located in St. Johnsville, NY. Minimum requirements:

  • NYS School Building Leader or School Administrator and Supervisor certificate.
  • Experience with instructional technology, project-based learning, and standards based grading.
  • Able to establish and maintain positive interactions with the business community and the local college.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to promote the AG PTECH program to students, parents and school districts.
  • Able to strengthen and support an innovative instructional program while maintaining high expectations for academic success and professional behaviors.
  • Five years teaching experience.

Administrative experience and a background in agriculture and/or agriculture education is preferred.
