Students with physical or learning
disabilities may qualify for employment services, post secondary
training or independent living services through Vocational and Educational Services for Individuals with
Disabilities (VESID). The BOCES staff completes the application and
submits it to VESID. Students may know of their eligibility
before they graduate, and VESID may assign a student a counselor
prior to exiting school. VESID's goal is to help adults live
independent, self-directed lives.
