HFM BOCES Health-Safety-Risk Management offers a fingerprinting
service for potential employees of HFM BOCES and all 15
component school districts, as well as those seeking teaching or
administrative certification through the New York State
Education Department, as required under New York State law.
Fingerprinting is done by appointment only, weekdays from 8 a.m.
- 3:30 p.m.
A $94.25 fee is charged to those who work for or are applying for
positions with HFM BOCES or one of our 15 component school
districts. Payment for the $94.25 fee must be a certified check or
money order made payable to NYSED. Alternately,
a receipt of payment from the NYS Higher Education Department
can be provided to our office as proof of payment. This can be
obtained when you pay by credit card on the SED site at:
http://www.highered.nysed.gov/tcert/teach/
An additional $25 fee is charged to those who are not applying
for a position with HFM BOCES or one of our component schools.
Payment for the $25 fee should be made payable to HFM BOCES
Health-Safety-Risk Management. Applicants must
bring a driver's license or other form of photo ID to their
fingerprinting appointments.
