Academic credit opportunities and Academic
Intervention Services are offered to students who need
assistance meeting New York State graduation requirements. Many
students attending the Career and Technical Center (CTC) have
scheduling challenges because of their decision to spend one
half of their school day at the Career and Technical Center.
Classes offered are commensurate level courses that help prepare
students to prepare for successful completion of high school.
Students are scheduled for academic credit
or extra help by school counselors in individual districts as
needed. Students should take any and all classes at their home
schools and only take classes at the CTC which do not fit in
their home school schedule. Participating in academic classes
and Academic Intervention Services may take time away from the
Career and Technical program, so we do not encourage it unless
it is the only way to meet their graduation requirements.
The academic credit and academic support
available at the CTC are offered in the following areas:
Career and
Financial Management
English
Health
Mathematics
Physical
Education
Social
Studies
Science
If you feel that your child may need
academic credit or Academic Intervention Service at the Career
