Who decides when to have a fire drill?

New York State Education law requires that twelve fire drills be conducted each year, with 8 conducted before January 1.

Director of Operations David Aimone creates a list of tentative dates and times, using HFM BOCES' room scheduling software to check for conflicts with important meetings, conferences and tests. The dates are then confirmed by the Director of the Career & Technical Center and the Principal of the Alternative School.
